Ways of Working
People and organisations often reach moments when something is changing.
A new leadership role.
A shift in direction.
A sense that a different stage is beginning.
At these points, the most valuable thing is often the opportunity to pause and reflect before deciding what comes next.
My work creates that space.
I work with organisations and individuals in three main ways.
Narrative Alignment Session
A Narrative Alignment Session is a structured conversation for leadership teams preparing to enter a new stage.
Organisations sometimes move quickly into announcing change or communicating strategy. Yet when leaders have space to explore what is really happening first, the direction they communicate later feels far more authentic and grounded.
These sessions explore questions such as:
- What is ending?
- What is emerging?
- What needs to remain constant?
- What role does leadership need to play now?
Leadership teams leave the conversation with greater clarity, stronger alignment, and a narrative they can genuinely stand behind.
The Next Stage Programme
Sometimes a single conversation is not enough.
The Next Stage Programme supports organisations over a longer period as they explore and articulate the next phase of their development.
The programme unfolds through a series of thoughtful conversations that allow leaders to reflect more deeply on the direction the organisation is taking and the story that will support that movement.
This work may include:
- listening conversations with senior leaders
- facilitated leadership discussions
- shaping and articulating the narrative of the next stage
- preparing leaders for important moments of communication
The result is a clearer sense of direction and greater confidence in how that direction is communicated.
Narrative Coaching
I also work one-to-one with individuals who are navigating a moment of transition.
This may include:
- stepping into a new leadership role
- navigating a change in career or direction
- preparing for greater visibility or responsibility
- reflecting on the role they want to play in the next stage of their life or work
These conversations create space to reflect, clarify thinking, and move forward with intention.
Many of these conversations begin with a simple question:
What stage are you really stepping into now?
If you're navigating a moment of transition and would value a thoughtful conversation, I'd be very glad to hear from you.
